Keeping You Comfortable From the Ground Up!

Keeping you comfortable from the ground up

As a local, family-owned business, we are committed to the "small store" atmosphere. We will always provide you with excellent customer service. Part of that outstanding service is conducting a Video Stride Analysis, a procedure that will help us determine what shoe is best for you by measuring your feet and watching your stride. Then, you have fun choosing your shoe from over 40 models in our store.

2010-2011 Small Business of the Year
-Small Business Council of Rogers-Lowell Area Chamber of Commerce

Congratulations to Rush Running Co. on being named the 2010/2011 "Small Business of the Year" by the Small Business Council of the Rogers-Lowell Area Chamber of Commerce. Rush Running Co. is owned by Mike and Alison Rush. Their vision is to see everyone running by promoting an active community. They do this by planning more than 40 local charity races each year in northwest Arkansas, conducting running clinics at the senior center and by providing workout gear for student-athletes at area high schools. In 2010, Rush Running donated $22,000 worth of shoes to Springdale High School so track athletes could have proper footwear. Mike believes if you maintain your reputation and provide customer service that is second to none, your challenges will fix themselves. Congratulations to all the deserving nominees for this award!

"Keep it Local"

Buy-Local Advantages
For every $100 spent in locally owned, independent stores, $68 returns to the community through taxes and services, banking and insurance. If you spend that in a national chain, only $43 stays. By buying locally, you also:

- Get access to local experts who are passionate about their products and your region
- Find more products geared specifically toward your region and climate
- Gain exposure to smaller, more unique brands
- Reduce your purchases' carbon footprint with less packaging and transportation
- Support a company that's vested in your community
- Support more choice, more diversity and a truly unique community
What Exactly is an "independent local buisness"?
Most organizations only consider a business local and independent if it meets the following criteria:

- Primarily privately owned -- by employees, the community or an area cooperative
- Relies solely on its unique name and reputation (no help from larger brand name)
- Maintains sole responsibility for paying rent, marketing, and other expenses
- Registered only in its home state (no affiliation with a corporate office)
- Operates out of a physical storefront
